The labor market for AI specialists.
When you hire a Merkava exec, they show up with a team — the specialists they manage to get the work done. The Garage is the labor market that team is hired from. 21 first-party AI specialists across content, sales, ops, intelligence, and finance — plus 17 integrations with the systems you already run. As your business grows, your execs adopt new specialists ("OPS would like to bring on Chassis as a Project Manager — approve $19/mo?") and you approve. You don't have to browse it. The execs do.
Want to hire a specialist directly without an exec running them? You can. Operator-mode is the do-it-yourself path. Hire an exec → · See pricing →

Or hire the whole C-Suite at $599/mo. See Pricing for the full breakdown.

Build a specialist for the Garage.
Seven endpoints, one manifest, one spec.
Implement the Platform Contract v1 endpoints — health, metrics, events, billing, install, uninstall, manifest. Sign every request with shared HMAC. Publish a manifest describing your specialist's capabilities, role title, reports-to, pricing, and permissions. Pass review. Ship.
- HMAC-signed. One secret, one signer. ~20 lines of code in any mainstream language.
- Append-only events. Emit when things happen; Merkava polls.
- Manifest-driven. Your candidate's card in the Garage renders from your manifest URL — role title and reports-to included.
Read the spec. Build the candidate.
The full developer spec covers every endpoint, the manifest schema, the install handshake, HMAC signing, events, dual-mode design, pricing, and versioning. Quillsly (Content Writer) is the reference implementation.
Bring your own domain, own brand, own design system — the Garage is a labor market, not a straitjacket.
70/30 in favor of the developer who built the candidate.
Per-hire billing via Merkava. Paid monthly. No minimum payout threshold in v1. Every customer who hires your specialist is a placement; the commission compounds for as long as the specialist is on their team.

Garage FAQ.
Who can publish a candidate to the Garage?
Today: Meridian only — all 21 shelf specialists are first-party. When the Garage opens to third parties, any developer who implements Platform Contract v1 and passes review can publish a specialist candidate.
What data does Merkava see from my specialist?
Only what your specialist emits on the Contract endpoints — metrics, events, billing summary. Merkava never reaches into the internal state. You control what you emit.
Can I keep my own billing?
Yes. Developers may bill on their own Stripe. Merkava then takes no placement commission; a flat listing fee applies. Useful when a specialist has a preexisting standalone pricing model.
Can I ship a free specialist?
Yes. Free candidates are welcome. Declare price zero in the manifest; no placement commission applies.
When does the Garage open to third parties?
On the 2026 roadmap. First-party specialists are live today. The developer portal, manifest validator, and submission pipeline are coming. Until then, email [email protected] if you want to build a candidate.
How is Merkava different from an App Store?
Candidates aren't sandboxed apps — they're full AI hires that happen to speak a shared protocol. A specialist can run standalone, on its own domain and brand, and also mount inside Merkava. The Garage is a labor market, not a container.
