Signals. Outward intent radar for operators.

Buying conversations happen in public — on Reddit threads, Hacker News, X, niche forums. Signals listens to those rooms, classifies what it hears against your ICP, and routes the qualified ones to SALES. You stop missing the moment someone says they're shopping for what you sell.

The three-radar view.

Signals is one of three radars that ship with Merkava core. Together they cover every direction a deal can come from.

OUTWARD

Signals

The world saying things out loud. Reddit, HN, X, forums. Surfaces buying-intent before your competitor's SDR finds the same thread.

INWARD

Prospector

Your own pipeline. Deals, contacts, stage transitions, stale-deal alerts. The radar pointed at the work already in motion.

SIDEWAYS

OODA

Your competitors. Pricing changes, launches, hiring patterns, marketing motions. The radar pointed at the other guys.

How Signals works.

01 · LISTEN

Public surfaces, narrow keywords

Signals polls Reddit subs, HN, X, and your tuned source list against keyword + topic filters specific to your venture.

02 · CLASSIFY

Intent + ICP fit

Forge scores each capture: intent stage (researching / evaluating / ready) and ICP fit against your venture profile. Noise drops out before it hits your queue.

03 · QUEUE

Surface to operator + SALES

Qualified signals appear on the Signals dashboard. With SALES hired, they auto-route into Prospector with the source post linked — ready for outreach you approve.

What you get.

Pairs well with.

Prospector
Qualified signals route into the SALES pipeline as scored leads
OODA
The third radar — competitive moves alongside intent + pipeline
Quillsly
Recurring signal themes become content briefs — answer the room you're listening to

Questions.

What does Signals cost?

Signals is included free with every exec hire. Every hire includes a 7-day free trial; card required at signup. No add-on fee for Signals.

Where does Signals pull from?

Reddit, Hacker News, X/Twitter, and other public conversations where operators talk about the problems they have. The source list is operator-tunable per venture.

How does Signals decide what is a buying signal?

Forge classifies each captured post against your ICP description and current solution gap. A signal carries an intent score (research / evaluation / ready-to-buy) and an ICP-fit score. Low-score noise gets dropped before you see it.

How is Signals different from Prospector and OODA?

Three radars, three directions. Signals looks outward — the wider world saying things in public. Prospector looks inward — your own pipeline, your own deals. OODA looks sideways — your competitors. Same platform, three angles.

Can SALES act on signals automatically?

Yes — when the SALES exec is hired, qualified signals are routed into Prospector as new leads with the original post linked as context. The exec drafts the outreach; you approve it before it sends.

QUESTIONS

The questions market-intel operators actually ask.

How is Signals different from Common Room, Ungated, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

Common Room and Ungated track community + buyer intent from public surfaces but their UX is built for sales teams running outbound at scale. Sales Navigator is a search tool. Signals is a Drive in your Merkava workspace that surfaces the same buying-intent signals (job changes, funding events, hiring spikes, search behavior) and routes them straight into your Prospector pipeline + your SALES VP's brief. No separate dashboard to check.

What signals does Signals actually track?

Job changes (your ICP champions changing roles), funding events (companies that just raised — buyers with budget), hiring spikes (companies scaling teams adjacent to your product), new-tool adoption (when a target installs a competitor or complementary tool), content engagement (companies whose employees engage with your content), SERP movement on your category keywords. Configurable per ICP segment.

Where does the signal data come from?

Public sources: LinkedIn job changes, hiring boards, funding announcements (Crunchbase / news), tech-stack scrapers, GitHub adoption signals, SERP monitoring. Plus first-party data when you opt in (Webster page visits, Quillsly content engagement, Freeform form starts/abandons).

How are signals scored and prioritized?

Each signal type has a base weight; you tune weights per ICP segment. Recent signals weight higher than old. Combined signals (job change + hiring spike + content engagement on the same account) score higher than singletons. The SALES VP runs the weighting continuously and surfaces the top accounts to act on in the Merkava feed.

Do I get real-time alerts?

Yes — configurable. Slack alert when a high-score signal hits (e.g., a target ICP company just raised funding), digest mode for the routine signal flow, dashboard view for browsing the queue. Default is "high-score only" so the alert volume stays manageable.

How does Signals work with Prospector and OODA?

Signals tracks YOUR market (who's a buyer right now). OODA tracks your competitors (what they're doing). Prospector tracks your pipeline (where deals stand). The three close the SALES intelligence loop, and the SALES VP ($99/mo) operates all three as a unit — surfaces high-intent accounts (Signals), reads competitive context (OODA), routes the lead into Prospector with attribution.

What does Signals cost?

Signals is part of the Merkava Merkava core — included with every plan. The SALES executive at $99/mo adds the AI VP Sales who manages Signals + Prospector + OODA together (high-intent surface → competitive read → pipeline routing). Or hire the whole C-Suite at $599/mo.
