Does the Mailchimp integration cost anything extra?
Free with any Merkava plan. Mailchimp's own pricing applies separately. The integration itself ships free with Merkava; you don't pay per event, per record, or per sync.
Which Merkava Drives use Mailchimp?
GROWTH (Quillsly, Beacon, Affiliation). The integration is shared across these Drives — connect Mailchimp once and any Drive that needs email marketing data has it.
How does authorization work?
OAuth 2.0 via Mailchimp's app authorization; scoped to a single Mailchimp account. Merkava never sees your password — you authorize through Mailchimp's standard auth flow and revoke access from your Mailchimp account at any time.
What Mailchimp permissions does Merkava request?
lists:read/write, campaigns:read/write, automations:read, reports:read. We request the minimum scopes needed for the use case; nothing broader than what's required to sync subscriber lists, push Quillsly-drafted campaigns to Mailchimp, track open/click events back into Merkava. Operators see and approve the exact scope list at install.
Is the integration two-way?
Yes. Merkava reads list state and report metrics; pushes drafted campaigns and segment updates.
Does this work with Mailchimp's free tier?
Yes. Mailchimp Free tier (up to 500 contacts) works for the integration. Some advanced automation triggers require a paid Mailchimp plan.
Can I disconnect at any time?
Yes. Settings → Integrations → Mailchimp → Disconnect in Merkava, or revoke the authorization from your Mailchimp account directly. Disconnect stops sync immediately. Data already pulled into Merkava remains in your tenant; you can purge it from Settings → Data → Purge Integration Data if you also want it cleared.
What happens to my Mailchimp data if I cancel Merkava?
Your Mailchimp data stays where it is — Merkava only stores a synced copy for the Drives that need it. Cancellation lets you export your tenant's data (Settings → Data Export) and the synced copy is deleted at the end of your billing period. The original Mailchimp account is unaffected.
