Does the BambooHR integration cost anything extra?
Free with any Merkava plan. BambooHR's own subscription applies separately. The integration itself ships free with Merkava; you don't pay per event, per record, or per sync.
Which Merkava Drives use BambooHR?
OPS (Crew, Onramp, Gauge, Cohort). The integration is shared across these Drives — connect BambooHR once and any Drive that needs HR data has it.
How does authorization work?
API key authorization scoped to the BambooHR subdomain you authorize. Merkava never sees your password — you authorize through BambooHR's standard auth flow and revoke access from your BambooHR account at any time.
What BambooHR permissions does Merkava request?
employees:read/write, timeoff:read, reports:read, custom-fields:read. We request the minimum scopes needed for the use case; nothing broader than what's required to sync employee directory, time-off, performance review cycles, and onboarding workflows between BambooHR and Merkava's OPS Drives. Operators see and approve the exact scope list at install.
Is the integration two-way?
Yes. Merkava reads employee state and writes new-hire records, time-off events, and review cycle artifacts back to BambooHR.
Does this work with BambooHR's free tier?
No — BambooHR requires a paid subscription. The integration works with all paid tiers.
Can I disconnect at any time?
Yes. Settings → Integrations → BambooHR → Disconnect in Merkava, or revoke the authorization from your BambooHR account directly. Disconnect stops sync immediately. Data already pulled into Merkava remains in your tenant; you can purge it from Settings → Data → Purge Integration Data if you also want it cleared.
What happens to my BambooHR data if I cancel Merkava?
Your BambooHR data stays where it is — Merkava only stores a synced copy for the Drives that need it. Cancellation lets you export your tenant's data (Settings → Data Export) and the synced copy is deleted at the end of your billing period. The original BambooHR account is unaffected.
