Does the Slack integration cost anything extra?
Free with any Merkava plan. The Slack integration is included; no per-event or per-channel billing. The integration itself ships free with Merkava; you don't pay per event, per record, or per sync.

How does authorization work?
OAuth 2.0 with workspace-level token; scoped to the channels you authorize at install. Merkava never sees your password — you authorize through Slack's standard auth flow and revoke access from your Slack account at any time.
What Slack permissions does Merkava request?
channels:write (post messages), users:read (resolve mentions), commands (slash command handling). We request the minimum scopes needed for the use case; nothing broader than what's required to send pipeline events, deal wins, candidate signs, support alerts, and pipeline moves to the right channels. Operators see and approve the exact scope list at install.
Is the integration two-way?
Yes — events flow both directions. Merkava posts to channels and accepts /merkava slash commands that query Merkava.
Does this work with Slack's free tier?
Yes. Slack Free works fine for the integration; you only need a Slack workspace, not a paid Slack plan.
Can I disconnect at any time?
Yes. Settings → Integrations → Slack → Disconnect in Merkava, or revoke the authorization from your Slack account directly. Disconnect stops sync immediately. Data already pulled into Merkava remains in your tenant; you can purge it from Settings → Data → Purge Integration Data if you also want it cleared.
What happens to my Slack data if I cancel Merkava?
Your Slack data stays where it is — Merkava only stores a synced copy for the Drives that need it. Cancellation lets you export your tenant's data (Settings → Data Export) and the synced copy is deleted at the end of your billing period. The original Slack account is unaffected.
